Alerts & briefings
Hear about rival moves by email, Discord or Slack, the way you like.
How do I get alerts when a rival changes something?
Alerts are switched on for every game you add. Fine-tune what you hear about, and how, on the Alerts page.
What can I get alerts about?
Release date and price changes, regional prices, new builds and patch notes, trailers, art, follower jumps and new games in your busiest weeks.
What is the rival briefing and how often does it come?
One tidy email with every rival move set to "In the briefing": weekly on Mondays on Free, every morning or weekly on paid plans.
How do I send alerts to Discord or Slack?
On Indie and Studio, connect a Discord or Slack channel under Notifications, then tick Discord / Slack on your alerts.
Can I set alerts for just one rival?
Yes, on Studio. Add an alert on the Alerts page and choose "Only one rival" to watch a single game closely.
How do I get fewer emails or unsubscribe?
Every email has a one-click link at the bottom. You can turn emails back on under Notifications.
What time does my briefing arrive?
Briefings go out at the same time for everyone, around 8 in the morning UTC. Weekly briefings come on Mondays.
Where do I find the channel link for Discord or Slack?
In Discord, make one under your community's Integrations settings. In Slack, add the incoming messages app to a channel. Then paste the link under Notifications.
Do I get alerts about my own game?
No. Alerts and Rival Watch follow your rivals. Your own game's numbers are on your Overview, Release Radar and Sales pages.
What are "rising games like yours"?
Games like yours that you don't watch yet, whose following suddenly takes off. Spot them before they become a problem.
