LaunchRivals helps indie developers find the quietest week to release their game on Steam. It lines up the games players will compare yours with and keeps watch on every move they make.
LaunchRivals is a launch-planning tool for indie games on Steam. Drop in a store page and it finds the games your players will compare you with, rates every week up to a year ahead from Quiet to Packed, and alerts you by email or Discord when a rival changes its date, price or capsule. Data comes straight from Steam's public store and is refreshed daily. Free to start. LaunchRivals is independent and not affiliated with Valve or Steam.
- Plain words, short sentences.
- "Fresh every day" beats "real-time data synchronisation". Say rival, not competitor; week, not launch window, unless you mean the whole thing.
- Second person, always.
- It's your game, your week, your rivals. "We" only appears when describing what LaunchRivals does for you.
- Say the number.
- 26 weeks ahead, 25 rivals, 14-day guarantee. Numbers set in mono where they're data, in text where they're prose.
- Competitive, not hostile.
- Rivals are other indies. We help you pick your moment, never talk them down.
Name: one word, capital L and R: LaunchRivals. Never "Launch Rivals" or "launchrivals" in prose. Company: LaunchRivals.
Avatars and icons
The mark only, filling 56% of the canvas. Square 1024px files; platforms crop the circle themselves.
Promotional banners
Ready to post, pin or run as an ad. Each one comes in square, feed, story and header sizes, and Release Radar in the classic ad sizes too.
