Where do I find the channel link for Discord or Slack?

You need a channel link from Discord or Slack. It takes a minute, and you need to be allowed to manage your Discord community or add apps in Slack. The Notifications page shows the exact menu names.

Discord

1. Open your Discord community's settings and choose Integrations.
2. Create a new one there, pick the channel the alerts should land in and name it, for example LaunchRivals.
3. Copy its link.

Slack

1. Add Slack's app for incoming messages to your workspace. The Notifications page names it.
2. Pick the channel for your alerts.
3. Copy the link Slack gives you.

Then, in LaunchRivals

1. Open Notifications on Indie or Studio.
2. Paste the link under Discord & Slack, give it a name and click Connect channel.
3. Click Send test, then tick Discord / Slack on your alerts.

Tip: treat the channel link like a password. Anyone who has it can post in that channel.
