Visit the help centreWhich twelve months is this?
The 365 days up to today, not a calendar year. Run it again on New Year's Day for the year just gone.
How do you know when I played a game?
Steam shows the last day each game was played and the hours in it all time. A game counts for the year when its last play was in the last twelve months; its hours are its all-time hours, because Steam shares no more than that.
Why is a month empty when I played?
A month counts the games whose last play fell in it. A game you played in March and again in June counts for June only.
Can I share the card?
Yes. The card is a picture with your games played, hours and top three, and the link under it works for an hour. Post it anywhere.
The profile is private. What then?
Only a public game list can be summed up. Steam shows games and hours when the profile's game details are public.
Is it free?
Yes, no sign-up needed.
