Visit the help centreWhat can we play together?
The "You both own" list is the games in both libraries, the ones you have both played first. Multiplayer or not is up to the game, so check its store page before the evening is planned.
How is the overlap worked out?
The games you both own, as a share of every game either of you owns. Two libraries that are the same would read 100%.
Only the first dozen games show. Where is the rest?
The lists show the twelve games with the most hours in each group, so the page stays readable. The counts above them cover everything.
One of the profiles is private. Can I still compare?
Only a public game list can be compared. Steam shows games and hours when the profile's game details are public; the owner can change that in their Steam privacy settings.
Does the other person know I looked?
No. We only read what Steam shows anyone who opens the profile.
Is it free?
Yes, no sign-up needed.
