Steam Scream V is on until Nov 2. Spooky games crowd the store this week, so the quieter weeks after it are worth a look.

What does "worth" mean here?

What it would cost to buy every game in the library on Steam right now, in the region you pick: once at today's prices and once at the list prices without any discount. Free games count as free. It is not what the account would sell for, and it is not what the person paid.

Why does the number change with the region?

Steam sets a separate price for every game in each of its regions. The same library can be worth twice as much in Switzerland as in Brazil. Pick the region you shop in.

Some games say "not priced yet". Why?

US prices cover every game on Steam. For other regions we read prices game by game, and a few of the games in this library haven't been read in that region yet. They are left out of the total rather than guessed, and we queue them up for the next read.

The profile is private. Can I still see something?

Only what Steam shows to everyone: the name, how long the account has been on Steam and its level. The games and hours need a public game list; the owner can change that in their Steam privacy settings.

Does the person know I looked?

No. We only read what Steam shows anyone who opens the profile.

Is it free?

Yes, no sign-up needed.
