Why are my Discord or Slack alerts not arriving?

Send a test from Notifications, check the channel is still connected, and make sure your alerts have Discord / Slack ticked.

Work through these quick checks:

  1. Send a test. Under Notifications, click Send test next to the channel. If it arrives, the channel is fine.
  2. Check the status. Stopped usually means the link was removed on the Discord or Slack side. Last message failed means the last alert did not get through. Connect the channel again with a fresh link.
  3. Tick Discord / Slack on your alerts. On the Alerts page, each rule chooses its own channels.
  4. Check your plan. Discord and Slack alerts come with Indie and Studio. When a paid plan ends, alerts move to email.
  5. On a team? Team alerts go to the channels the team owner connected.

Tip: alerts set to In the briefing arrive with your briefing, not one by one. Switch the ones you want to see straight away to Right away.
