Is my Steamworks key safe?

Yes. Your key is stored encrypted, only ever used to read your reports, and your numbers are private to you and your team.

Yes. Your Steamworks key is stored encrypted and is only ever used to read your sales and wishlist reports. It cannot change anything in your Steamworks account.

  • Private: your sales and wishlists are for your eyes only, and your team's if you are on Studio. They never show up on public pages or for other members.
  • Yours to remove: under Steamworks, Disconnect and delete my numbers removes the key and deletes your imported sales and wishlists.
  • In your control: you can also remove the group in Steamworks at any time, and the key stops working.

If Steam stops accepting your key, your numbers pause and the settings page asks for a new one. Paste it and we pick up right where we left off.

Tip: read how we handle your data in our privacy policy.
