Small gaps usually come from how the numbers are counted:
- Revenue is after refunds, before Steam's share. Steamworks shows revenue several ways, so compare with the figure that takes refunds off but not Steam's share.
- US dollars. Revenue is shown in US dollars, like Steam's own sales reports.
- Keys are counted on their own. Keys from press, bundles or other stores show as keys activated, not as copies sold.
- Steam settles recent days. Steam sometimes updates the last few days afterwards. We load those days again, so a fresh day can still move a little.
- The period and the game. Make sure both views cover the same dates and the same game.
Average price paid blends every country and discount, so it usually sits below your list price.
Tip: if a day still looks clearly wrong a few days later, contact us with the game, the date and both numbers.
