Steam Scream V is on until Nov 2. Spooky games crowd the store this week, so the quieter weeks after it are worth a look.

Free tools

A free tool cannot find my game or shows no result. Why?

Paste the store link of the game itself, make sure its page is public, and give brand-new games a day to get their first numbers.

Each message points to the fix:

  • "We could not find that game on Steam." Copy the link straight from the game's Steam store page, or use its app ID.
  • "That store page is not public on Steam right now." The tools work with pages anyone can open on Steam.
  • "That page is a demo" (or DLC, a soundtrack and the like). Paste the store page of the game itself.
  • "Steam is slow to answer right now." Try again in a few minutes.
  • "Not enough reviews yet" in the Sales Estimator. A game needs a few player reviews before its sales can be estimated.
  • "Still counting" in the Wishlist Estimator. We do not have the game's followers yet. They usually show up within a day.

A game that is already out gets its sales estimated instead of its wishlists, and the other way round.

Tip: the tools use public Steam data. For your own real sales and wishlists, connect Steamworks on a paid plan.
