- Open Settings.
- Under Change password, enter your current password, then your new one twice.
- Click Change password.
Use at least ten characters. A few unrelated words strung together are easy to remember and hard to guess.
Signed up with Steam? The same card is called Set a password. Add your email first, then choose a password, and you can sign in with your email too. Having both also lets you unlink Steam later if you want to.
Forgot your current password? Sign out and use Reset your password. The emailed link lets you choose a new one without the old.
Tip: pair a strong password with two-step verification. Even a leaked password is then not enough to get in.
